iRacing 2025 Season 3 Now Live

The iRacing 2025 Season 3 update is now officially live on the servers bringing with it the usual mix of new content, features, and improvements we’ve come to expect with each new season. This season adds new cars, updates for GT3 and NASCAR fans, a new track and more.

Starting off their announcement, the iRacing team revealed the addition of three new cars that racers can add to their collection. The Ferrari 296 Challenge makes its way into Season 3 along with two new NASCAR cars, the Gen 4 Chevrolet Monte Carlo and Gen 4 Ford Taurus.

NASCAR is a big focus of this seasons updates, with the Track Art Team continuing their overhaul of the 12 currently available NASCAR tracks. Speaking of tracks, a new one has just released that may be familiar to our Australian friends, The Bend Motorsport Park located in Adelaide. Also known as Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, this track is now available in iRacing with seven configurations – GT Circuit, International Circuit, East Circuit, West Circuit, West Plus Circuit, Spirit Circuit and South West Circuit.

Performance updates have also come to the NASCAR Cup Series Gen 7 Class cars and the Dallara IR18. If NASCAR isn’t your thing, GT3 fans will be pleased to hear that the entire GT3 class have received updates to their performance, tires and a complete physics overhaul. Also there are now rain-ready tires for the Super Formula SF23, Dallara IR18, Lotus 79 and Skip Barber Formula 2000. To compliment these new rain-ready tires, the developers have also introduced updates to the rain visual system to make the visuals better match the rain physics.

Other updates this season include the ability to select different car bodies in paint kit for viewing your custom paint jobs. Clubs have been retired and replaced with a flag feature that lets you select and wear your colors. Adaptive AI has been further expanded to be available for use in Hosted Racing Seasons and AI Seasons with new seasons now available for racers who enjoy racing against AI.

There have been improvements to the Connectivity Black Flag System, more devices now have support for force feedback at 360 Hz, and finally Fixed Foveated Rendering has been added for Open XR to improve rendering speed.
